Great Escape is back! Tasmania's newest and most exciting camping music festival will be making its highly anticipated return in March 2022. Great Escape was birthed this year by a collective of Tasmanian artists hoping to bring some much needed joy & stimulus into the state's struggling arts sector.

After an enjoyable and successful inaugural event, the festival is expanding to 2 nights and will feature some of Australia's best acts. The event will be held in the wild & beautiful Derwent Valley of Tasmania and is the last stop before the state's untamed & uncharted South West National Park.

Think all Australian music, delish Tasmanian food vendors, good vibes, and your campsite located on the rugged doorstep of Mount Field. We can't wait to party with you!

COVID 19:

Great Escape will comply with all COVID 19 event restrictions set by the Tasmanian Government. It is important to note that these are subject to change. Patrons will need to be double vaccinated to attend Great Escape as per Tasmanian Government guidelines.

The Tasmanian government has just eased restrictions meaning that there will be no dancing caps at Great Escape 2022. You will be able to boogie to your hearts content. Due to camping events still being viewed as a higher risk activity, our capacity is still fairly limited so make sure you grab a ticket ASAP!
